I have no knowledge of this blog and the author but if this in not a hoax, then this is some really ground breaking screenshots. It would make more sense if this was taken from blogsearch than websearch.

since Google has a FAQ page about it: http://www.google.com/support/faqs/?editresults
and since TechCrunch reported an earlier version of this last year: http://tinyurl.com/tech-crunch-digg
and since TechCrunch posted screenshots of the same interface, with someone else's username... within an hour or so: http://tinyurl.com/tech-crunch-edit-search
clearly a fake :-/
