You should talk, I heard you once returned a bowling ball simply because it had holes in it.

Wow, that was probably the funniest joke I've ever heard....

Just so ya know, most (if not all) bowling balls don't come drilled, they have to be fitted to the users hand since people have different hand sizes and different throwing styles.

I know this since I actually have a life outside of blogging and bowl in a Sunday afternoon league by my house. (not that that is anything to brag about haha)

You must be the arithmetic man -- you add trouble, subtract pleasure, divide attention, and multiply ignorance.

;o)

avatar
Reply

I say this in all fun of course. J/K.

avatar

Yeah but what happens if the added trouble, subtracted pleasure and divided attention equals zero? zero times anything equals zero so I'd have zero ignorance :)

Of course if this were an actual eqaution I'd have to do the multiplying first...

Math was always my best subject, english, not so much so, funny because my mom is an English teacher.

Well I went to Twitter, and this is what I get from they're home page:

"Something is technically wrong.

Thanks for noticingâ;;we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon."

(So much for the era of technology)

Is this how Tom Drapeau has been spending his time, creating "Twitter" instead of addressing the problems we encounter daily on Propeller? That thought leaves me less than enthusiastic about "Twitter."

avatar
Reply

Tom Drapeau didn't create Twitter. This makes me believe that you criticize before you click the links and read the information.

avatar
Reply

Though i bet he does wish he created Twitter(i sure know i do). last i heard Twitter is valued at between $60-150 million.

avatar

Then why are we getting "Twitter" instead of adequate basic Propeller service? Frankly, I see no need to "click the links and read the information" to a service which is essentially redundant, and in which I have no interest.

On the other hand, I'm really sorry that Tom Drapeau doesn't have the "$60-150 million" that Aidenag mentions. If he did, he might be able to invest in more competent and productive staff.

Twitter is an increasingly popular service, so we created a Propeller feed there as a courtesy to the community. Nobody is obliged to use it.

Thanks James. I had been contemplating launching a British site that is very similar, called "Twaddle". It seems "Twitter" has beaten me to the punch. An acqaintance I once knew (a madman!), had a webcam site where one could watch his cat all day long. It was called "My P***y". Can you imagine how many hits he got? LOL!

Funny thing is, I have two cats, brothers which are Russian Blues.

They fight like, well, animals. I was thinking about making a website "Pu..y Fights" that was basically a bunch of film I was gonna make of them fighting.

Decided not to tho....

Maybe you can put it on youtube. You registered?

James, I'd thought I'd let you know that the website is working well, and much thanks to you for having posted it. I've registered. It is a nice one with some swell features in it. Once again,

Thank you.

Thanks for posting this James.

I must admit that I notice improvement in Propeller's technical functioning.

Some people like to complain at every possible opportunity. Of course, my complaints are always salient and justified. (I'm sure you noticed.) HA!

Also should be mentioned Twitter works best with programs like Twhirl or Twitterfox
