If you have been there during the infant stages of the web, then you already know Netscape's contribution that led to the Internet that is today.

I used the Netscape Communicator during my early days of transformation from character-based browsers to the graphical ones.

Netscape has shown major parts of the ways we do work on the Internet today. Numerous innovations, both technological and and non-technical, by Netscape helped to bring the chunk of the world population closer to the Internet.

Netscape has kept its objectives, of bringing more and more people the world over closer to the web and promotion of web communities, flying high all this time - more than the lure of being on a mission to be on the list of the top money spinners in the industry.

The web and it's users may not have been like what we see today if not for Netscape.
