        in fact, i don't think wordpress can be considered as web content management system, it' blog publishing system.

          yes, but blog is just one, specialised type of content, general cms should support blogs but other types of content (eg. articles with hierarchical structure, photo gallery, site maps, wiki, ...) as well.

          blog publishing systems specialize on blog management. blog systems are usually far better for blog publishing, than general cms.
