Amazon.com has launched a software download section in their software store. While the product selection is small - meaning, limited to TurboTax products - the fact that they built a software downloader application means that this is not the end of the story.

    When there's money to be made, Amazon.com will be there!

    Actually, it looks like a pretty sound business decision to me. They've already got a customer base and on-line credit framework--this is just another way to improve cash flow while providing a service their customers want.

        I've purchased articles from HBR from Amazon and I really like the feature where they hold it in a library for you. I see they are doing that with the software as well. A nice feature.

        It's easy to spend a lot of money quickly, though.
