    Too bad for both I think, but it seems there was a conflict of interest from the start, I'm not a fan of unrestrained capitalism but charity from corporations comes with strings embedded so there is no particular surprise here.

      Really? I guess given the record we can assume that charity from corporations (and individuals) comes with strings attached, but wouldn't it be nice if we could hope that it didn't.

    What would you expect from a company steeped in corporate greed?

    Perhaps an association with AMD would have been better for OLPC Foundation.

    Negroponte has made this project a mission of his life and devoted his entire resources and the past two years of his career to fulfill his noble dream. He has achieved a spectacular success in getting this project off the ground.

    Perhaps George Soros would be a better person to help him!
