That tank looks like a sad little place. Reminds me of people who get a dog and then put it in the backyard on a 3 foot chain.

How do you change the water or even feed the fish? Sounds like the baby chicks that you get for Easter and are dead a week later.

I hope that a LOT of people read this story and are just as outraged as I am!! Not only do I have dogs and cats, but I have fish and aquariums as well. I have "Siamese fighting fish" (the correct name is betta) and I keep them in a one gallon tank with air and a filter system. I have two of them (in separate tanks--they will fight to the death if together--only the males). They are beautiful fish. I would never think of putting them in this kind of "aquarium". I want to encourage all animal rights groups to put a stop to this!! Then to have some supposed animal welfare group say these things were "adequate" for the fish and they seemed to "flourish" is really outrageous. Animals are exploited enough!! We don't need to carry it any further with these things.

How would you like to be put in a plastic cube with barely enough room to turn around and then be jogged, tipped and turned upside down almost constantly? Or do most people that own iPods just set them in one place and don't move them? Think about it!

This has to be a fake story? No way is it right to keep a fish in a tank that small. poor thing probably wouldn't live long in a tank like that. If it is real I like to think that no one would be stupid enough to buy one.
