Even as municipal Wi-Fi has floundered nationwide, New York Governor Eliot Spitzer unveiled a plan to bring affordable broadband to the entire state. The plan would beef up the state's economy, especially in long-depressed upstate New York, the governor said.

CHEERS to the proposal!
Upper state New York is a pain to attain Broadband, just as cellular phone coverage has been random in coverage.

Slightly off topic but check out this broadband/a> site if you are looking for a good broadband deal in the UK. I've recently moved their and they have mobile broadband which is great as you can use it any where.
