Posted By TechnologyExpert 10 months, 1 week ago in Science & TechnologyMy thought is Carlos Slim, wanting to keep his status as (arguably) richest man in the world, has decided to stop throwing money down a hole. CompUSA will shut down after the holiday season. Things already looked grim for CompUSA when they shut half their stores within a three month period, starting in February.

Carlos seems to be cutting all of his losers and focusing on building his fortune by concentrating on new tech speculation.
He's about to lose his long distance monopoly in Mexico, almost entirely because of VOIP, so he has to cut his losses now and look to the future. Just my two cents.
