Yes..

Its been a bit of a tease lately!

That said it was really a remarkable tradition from netscape and the PR for it was handled well after a slightly shaky start.

There was one particular thread in which a number of anchors and scouts participated both pro-actively and responsively which was the clincher, i believe.

The energy shifted from unsure and fearful and dubious to optimistic, curious and anticipatory.

I feel like now again there's a kind of uneasiness but from the hints that have been emerging I'm optimistic!

There's one difference that I have notice since I returned from my respite; Propeller is developing some commaradarie that did not exist as much before. A sense of community can be a powerful force for stability and future growth.

Good to be back. Mosel tov!

still quite a ways to go, but here's hoping for it. It would be interesting to watch the growth rate.

Do you suppose Digg can hear the "Jaws" theme? Da, na. Da, na.

avatar

Digg should probably watch out for the blades of Propeller.

We're going to need a bigger boat.

Not if the scouts get rid of all the sock puppets.

Which would leave, oh .. only a couple hundred of us.

Here is Propeller Analytics http://siteanalytics.compete.com/propeller.com

The number of people visiting a site

Quantcast probably has the most accurate public analytics since Propeller has the quantcast script in all of its pages:

And that one crashed twice :(

Guess I'm not meant to know so much so soon..

Where is RON Paul? I can not find a way to pull up any comments or articles about Ron Paul. Is propeller anti-Paul or am I doing something wrong? Maybe nobody wants to see Ron Paul. Ron Paul Ron Paul

There are a few Paul articles.

I think there is one up right now entitled-

"Commentary: McCain Blames Rise of Hitler on Ron Paul"

Although I guess you could say it's more about McCain...

Should be lots, there's more than a couple of Paul fans around here.

avatar

Are you suggesting an "I'll drink to that" button?

One could really have some good "drinking games" on these threads.

If you take a drink every time I say Neocon you would have to go to the hospital.

yeah and a lot of those so called members no longer visit this site because of stalkers threats and some of the nasty contributors that come here and notice you can't remove yourself from here its one way to fudge the numbers i wonder how many are actually active its a load of b.s to improve advertising revenue.

Call yourself Spadecaller, he attracts the so called stalkers, just ask him...that is if he isn't getting ready to enter the propeller witness protection program.

To me this is a good thing to read about, I haven't checked to see the numbers of people who actually drop in but to all of you out there that just sit and watch, come on in the waters fine. Opinions are like fingerprints we all have then and they are all different and it's always nice to have new ideas presented it provides us all with food for thought.

Neophile- I just checked with your link on the numbers, did they say that I'm old and wealthy.

I just got this layer cake and 400,000 candles! Does anybody have a match?

Get James Marcus in here, he's gonna have to blow these out before the entire site burns down! :D

CONGRATULATIONS!

We now await the One Million mark.

Yeah, but as soon as Propeller closes down the porn spammers, that number drops to 100K

Great 1million more degrading commentators in the political arena. If the 400,000 would contact Washington,DC,instead of crying on here about things, this country might go back to what it used to be.Oh yeah, thats right, they can't hide when they contact a Senator or Congressman.Plus you have to be a registered voter to get a reply. So that would knock out about 60% of the contributors here if not more.Since it seems a good amount are minors, foreign web/bloggers,and just plain crybabies who whine but don't do anything positive to help form change. And then you have your 15% who come here to do nothing but insult and name call. Its how they get their jollies I guess.Do the world a favor, get a tube, put it in your ear and clean the canal one time.Learn to hear the truth and accept it.Hate life, hate yourself,Not others!!Good Day!!

(uncl: And you have a good day too!)

There's one difference that I have noticed since I returned from my respite; Propeller is developing some commaradarie that did not exist as much before.

A sense of community can be a powerful force for stability and future growth. It can also provide the desire among more of us to participate and to work towards improving the domain. To some extent, it's a good thing that some of us are not completely satisfied.

Bravo! We're heading in the right direction.
