I am propelled to wish for a more user friendly message center, currently it takes to long to delete and you can't organize your center to save things.
I would also like to have some emoticons :)
Also a retract button in the comment rating section in case you neg something and wanted to pos it.
Other than that I am propelled to say I like the netscape news portal and our propeller portal. Good Job and I'm looking forward to the future.

Well like Ive been ASKING for over a year now and Ive probably asked all the team- is we need a "delete all" feature for our incoming and sent messages (I have about a years worth of messages that I just dont have the time to delete). And the sink button is a waist of time. Get rid of that. Alot of people sink for no good reason.

Sorry Stoners! I gave you a neg by mistake,I wanted to give you a pos. Well goes to what I've stated in a post by James Marcus not too long ago. WE NEED A RETRACT BUTTON in case of a boo-boo like I made right here just now! and faster uploads and downloads(because it seems to takeforever and a day!) Also faster deletion in my inbox please. That is what I wish, and others probably too!

I'd like to do away with voting period,,,, most sites have 10 threads up that are being currently posted to. Someone posts and it goes to the top of the page,,,,,, once the story plays out and people post on other threads it scrolls into oblivion,,,,,,, BUT if the topic gets hot again they can simply be post to again and brought forth. This allows for less redundancy in the future if a topic becomes apropos again. If the posters that are logged on think something merits their attention it stays on the front page without a time limit (more of an interest 'interest' over a time restraint and popularity contest. It will also free up all the space on the server from the daily emails each member receives to garner support from the author asking for enough positive votes from others to get their stories viewed. Additionally, it will help with the sock puppet syndrome for the same reason.

As for me, I'd like to see the home page have four distinct frames with fifteen stories in each frame. A frame would have the top fifteen stories from the main channel (Top Stories) which would not be customizable and then three other frames (channels) with channels that I pick.
For instance, I look mostly at Politics, Religion and Science. Other than that my friends have to let me know, I see something interesting on the Tracker (we've gotta do something to make that better, maybe across the top of the screen?), or I see something in Top Stories. So, I'd just like to be able to look at my top four channels at once. Yeah, it'll be smaller, but so what?
Another thing that would simply rock, would be to be able to look at your friends top four categories as well, that way I wouldn't be sending Pagey a link to a story I posted about corn mold, if he isn't interested in that. Well, I wouldn't. Some people (obviously) don't care.
Just a couple of ideas.

I think if we (Propeller) want to really compete at the level of sites like Digg we have to offer something different. A partially customizable front page would certainly do that. Plus, if we can add some things that make the 'Friends' part of the experience more interactive and stronger (bigger pictures, more detailed profiles, favorite quotes section, blah, blah, blah) Propeller can be something very unique. A social news site that is also a social site in the best sense of the word.

It's only 7:45 in the morning and you're asking me questions? I haven't even finished my coffee yet!
I'm one of those weird users that actually like the way things are around here. Any changes you make I will always try to become accustomed to and move on from there.
If I could change any little thing today it would be the 'good', 'bad' votes. I would change them to 'I agree' or 'I disagree'. Makes for a much nicer exchange between people.

Also could somebody submit ANOTHER story or something showing all these new members where it is to find the "friends submited stories page" Ive told so many where to find this at and Im still doing it today. They are clueless about this. Ive even put it on my Bio but alot just dont read whats there in front of them. Heck if you dont spam people to death then great stories are being looked over. I even asked a few of the team to submit this as well but didnt get any answers about it either. Im just trying to slow down the spam some. I figure this is a great place for this to be seen and read so I will repeat it again. Go to your stats then click on friends then click on friends submited stories-that page list all your friends submited stories one right after the other. ;]

Before I posted this story, I left this comment on the site, it has not shown up yet, because it is waiting moderation.
"I would like to see the sitemail redesigned or scrapped. It is such a great feature but so abused. At the very least have it that only your friends can send you site mail, and have a way to delete multiple site mail at a time. I would also like to see the profile pages expanded with more features and options"
So it seems we are all thinking along the same lines.

Hey. Some very good ideas here!
I haven't been able to get any messages further back than page one of my inbox. This is the message I get when I try:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /data/serv... on line 40
A delete all button or a revamped message center would be really cool.
But, I'm like TC. New changes I just go along with and I just find my way around. I'm happy. : )

Most of my suggestions have already been posted so I must say all of you have done great.
But I must repeat, the comments take too long to post speeding up the process would be a big help.
Unless a posting is done as a response to a specific comment I think it should be kept in the same time frame as sent.
If you get tossed from the site you should at least be notified as to the reason- some are well founded, some are not.
Lastly when someone is removed from the site it is as if they never existed & you see conversations with phanthoms - those removed should have their comments remain up to the point of their transgression.

As with the netscape domain, the lag time on propeller is killing me!
The less popular channels are still a spam blogger's playground, and continues to clutter the front page.
The sitemail's been hobbled for ages, and I really dont care about it anymore. If I like ya, I'll add you to my friends list eventually.
