According to a statement released by the company, the investigation found that ''certain adjustments appear to have been motivated by the objective of attaining financial targets,'' and usually took place at the end of a fiscal quarter. Adjusted account balances were ''reviewed, sometime at the request or with the knowledge of senior executives.''

        Window dressing techniques are adopted even by top companies to boost their figures. Figures need to be audited by reputed auditors before publishing.

            I hope they go down. I hope they find that they cooked the books. Mr. and Mrs. Dell are the nastiest, rudest people that I have ever met. Their children are horrid too. I used to have to wait on them at a restaurant in Austin. They would take up my whole section because their kids wanted to sit at separate tables. They would then ask me to wait on them as if they were strangers. Then, tip me nothing and complain about the food.

            She left a not for the owner talking about how there was too much rosemary in the marinara sauce and there wasn't any rosemary in it at all.

            Good riddance.
