Sony recalls 350,000 digital cameras
Gadgets & Tech – Sony is recalling 350,000 digital cameras because the case may warp, creating an edge that can cut or scratch the user's hands, the company said Thursday.
"Customers are advised to check the model and serial numbers of their cameras to see if they are among the affected products, the company said in a statement. The problem only affects cameras with numbers between 3500001 and 3574100."
"U.S. customers can go to Sony's support Web site at http://esupport.sony.com for more information or call Sony support at 877-573-7669."
Good article, my church just bought a sony and some buddies too, great article to pass along. Sadden's me sony has nice cameras. Not good. I own Canon have for years because with their digital slr's they allow you to use your old lenses with new stuff......really liked that.
It went out the window when things started costing ten times more than they were worth, the product was sh!t, and some guy with a seventh grade education started making $40 an hour to sit on his ass putting screws in a piece of metal. American auto manufacturing would be a fine example.
This is insane. What the heck. Lets put bubble wrap around everything! Whatever happen to just becareful? I have an older Sony digital camera. I love it!
