It is promised to be a win-win situation for both parties. Google makes its online presence more visible every day and this acquisition is another indication of this.

I also feel Panoramio will be a great addition to Google's family. Besides, Google really knows how to bring users and build a community within a web service. So I think when Google brings more people to Panoramio they will have many new people and thus many new photos from different places from around the world. So I believe this acquisition will be a win-win situation to both companies.

There are some awesome pictures on the Panoramio website.. I think this is a really good buy for Google.
