The "sneak preview" of NS 9 should really whet some whistles for sure !!! :-)

I was a long time Netscape user, in fact I was absolutely religious about using Netscape as a browser, but then came the "new" Netscape (8.2) which crashed for no detectable reason about ten times a night. So now I'm on Firefox which does NOT crash and I'm quite happy and will NOT be going back. Thank you Netscape! Thank you for helping me break my Netscape addiction!

Is there a version for Linux? I don't see any download link at the addons site.

I will not download it because the other versions conflicted with my system. If its not broken don't fix it.

Indi06 and Brothers ** Excellent Post ***

The so-called New Netscape is a Disgrace in the Year 2007..

The New Netscape QA (Quality Assurance) Is Very POOR to say the least...

Before any Release, the new System should be tested in-house as well as Bata tested at an external Site..

This is Normal Procedure in the IT World...

Apparently this is a Lost Art with the new Netscape Personal??? How Shallow???

The Development staff along with the So-called Anchors appear to have very little experience???

The New netscape so-called Anchors are Quick to threghten Netscape users with Censorship and Freedom of Speech...

This could possibly result in Litigation to them personally along with the New Netscape Management..

How Sad a relatively Good Netscape System was set back by an incompetent development staff???

I was an avid user of Netscape and put it on my friends computers. Then they decided to start using pop ups as crap so now I use Firefox all the time. They can take Netscape and cram it.

Pop ups ARE crap.

Is this the reason my firefox is freezing me out of netscape on a regular basis? It's very frustrating.

Oh no, another one to try to get used to! Will it crash every day like the old ones? Can't they just leave it look the same?

I was never happy with netscape..

Seriously, this one will not crash... hopefully with Netscape 10 we will get a built-from-scratch browser! For now, we can just get the actual browser rather than the based-on-browser. ;) I will get Netscape 9 though, it looks good.

I'm another once loyal Netscape user who has recently moved over to Firefox and not looked back once....

Why would anybody who uses Firefox care about using the Netscape browser? Netscape uses way to much computer resources to run.

There seems to be a lot of confusion on this thread. The link here is to a theme that is ONLY for Firefox, the browser most of you are using.

I'll be the first to say I don't like Netscape 8, it hogs up too many resources for me to bother using on my computer. It was also developed outside of Netscape. Netscape 9, however, is being developed AT Netscape and will build upon the Firefox source code, FF being one of the best (if not THE best) browsers around.

Looks brilliant. Sharp and clean.
