Well written, and I like the metaphors used in the review. The only gripe I have is this; the Navigators ARE NOT the editors here, that's the anchor's job. We submit content, watch out for spam groups, sock puppets, and chill back to read some good news.

I wish I had the option to not see blocked people's names anymore, ie "You have chosen to block this member's comments. [show | hide]". I like Digg's method of leaving any mention of blocked people from the comment lists, and any replies to their comments.

It would also be nice if the threaded comments could be expanded or contracted, similar to the [plus] and [-minus] in Windows File Explorer.

And finally, I'd like to have the option of choose one of 3 or 4 common reasons for 'bad'ing someone's comment. Such as 'I disagree', 'Insulting Language', 'Duplicate/Pointless Comment', etc.

Thanks for your time Netscape anchors and navigators.

well written and insightful and i like how he reflected on how the whole Digg-killer trope that emerged when Netscape launched was a bunch of simple-minded ******e thinking.
