Your ISP is the IFPI's next target

Gadgets & Tech – "We should not be doing this job alone. With cooperation from ISPs we could make huge strides in tackling internet piracy globally. It is very unfortunate that it seems to need pressure from governments or even action in the courts to achieve this, but as an industry we are determined to see this campaign through to the end."

This is a no brainier... illegal sites should be blocked... internet gambling is illegal, dns should be blocked... scam sites reported to the FTC should be blocked... ISP's and email providers filter spam, target risks and block them.... Block spam from overseas... 70% of the problem is solved.

To paraphrase Woody Allen: "block everything!"

You can't just block everything. What you're suggesting isn't technically feasible, let alone warranted. It's like slashing all the tires in the world because "cars cause accidents."

Anyone for a Pyrrhic victory party?
