In my opinion, there are plenty of things that are wrong with Digg, but Digg keeps on growing. Even if gaming was rampant, would Jay admit it? And even if it was (and I'm convinced it is to the extend that no one has yet picked up on it, or its gotten publicity) would it matter?     I really don't think that gaming is the problem. Lately it just doesn't have any worthy content. It seems that most of the good blogs were banned (mainly by the users) and that most readers just want to see Wii articles and YouTube videos. I know a lot of submitters (myslef included) don't bother with trying to submit good stuff anymore and just end up submitting what the users supposedly want (ie videos, top 10 lists and TechCrunch articles).

    Anyone I talk to lately seems to be in agreement that digg has become MySpace. Hugely popular, but essentially a big spam engine for 12 year olds.
