I have to admit that I had never encountered the word "virality," and I did not understand it as used in the article linked. So I followed that article's link to Seth Godin, and now I think I understand. An idea can be "viral" and spread rapidly through the internet if it is simple enough and/or trivial enough.
Now I'm not sure that "viral" ideas are really worth anyone's time.

1-2-Oscar, check out the term meme too. It applies to this sort of topic in a way too. It is an interesting concept indeed.
