Nov. 17, 2006, 4:39 p.m.Do they do anything else other than suing people all the time? They could've spent this time actually surfing MySpace and finding good artists to sign.

Nov. 17, 2006, 6:23 p.m.Way to go Universal. This is outright piracy amd these people who do it see nothing wrong with it. So very sad.

Nov. 18, 2006, 2:21 p.m.MySpace could very well eliminate the problem simply bi not allowing a "download" link. If they just used the "add" (to profile) link, their would be very little to no objections. I understand how some (mostly unknown) artists want to share their music, but other more popular artists have heavily copyrighted material and downloading those illegally is just not right. Sorry, if I'm a killjoy, but illegal downloads are STEALING, pure and simple... got http://www.musicunited.org and watch the promos... everytime you illegally download music, you commit a crime on tape and essentially leave your fingerprint, DNA, home address and social security number at the scene of the crime. The fine per infringement (song) uploaded or downloaded illegally is $100k and/or 1-2 years imprisonment... when you can buy them for a whole 99 CENTS each, it's just not worth it.
