Microsoft says Gmail is a virus »

It seems that Microsoft has started flagged Gmail as a virus in their virus scanning software Windows Live OneCare. Many people are reporting that every time they open Gmail, a warning is displayed telling the user they are infected with "BAT/BWG.A".

    I don't doubt for one second that Microsoft actually views Gmail as a virus. :-)

      Of course they think it's a virus; it's a competitor who had some great ideas and has been wildly successful with them.

          I love my Gmail. Stopped using hotmail years ago---too much spam.

            Interesting...Microsoft usually just steals from their competitiors

            ...and am I the only one that thinks it's funny that Microsoft has their own virus program, yet can't fix the security holes/etc. that allow the viruses in the first place?
