Nov. 10, 2006, 10:13 p.m.Interesting, I happened to be chatting with another social bookmarker at the time the Wired story hit. I read it real quick, and told the other bookmarker, "Let me post this and see how fast it hits". I hadn't read your article at the time Saleem, I believe I have it bookmarked though, so I was unaware of the similarities, if I had been I might not have submitted the story.
This story seems to have a lot of slope to it even after 24 hours (1430 votes aow). What bugs me the most is the burying of the original story. This seems to be happening quite a bit lately. Kevin dugg this story, http://digg.com/hardware/Dell_to_sell_machines_with_quad_core_Intel_chip, and it was buried as soon as it hit the front page. It's kept a little traction though, it went front page at about 35 votes and is now up to nearly 70, despite being buried. Reputable, reliable source plus confirmed with Dell.
I'm really getting tired of this stuff on Digg.
