IE losing market share? What about the holes in it that makes it unsafe to use?

Netscape used to be a great browser, now its AOL with a different screen.I guess its just like AOL is or was? Restrictive, not easily understood, a different animal. Oh! and its still hard to drop your paid subscription.

I think I'm missing something here. I use Safari and Firefox, but what is the big difference about browsers in particular? I'm I not using them to their full capability?

losing users to firefox? :) 11.8 me

:) selling ie with windowsxp is no longer an advantage. so many users have now the opportunity to compare ie and firefox.

i admire netscape. :)

I had little reason to switch from Netscape in the past 10 years. However, i see some kind of a deterioration under AOL:

No Linux version, no email client, no multi language support, dilution for trident engine, too much advertising etc.

My suggestion would be to sell Netscape to Google. They may have better ideas how to restore the glory.

Keep up the faith!

For anyone who thinks Netscape is still a browser - forget it. It's a brand name. If you want a decent internet suite along the lines of the old netscape check out Seamonkey - http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/
