Aug. 15, 2006, 12:42 p.m.Yes, good information for those of us who use RSS - a lot of sites tag URLs with RSS query strings. I've been stripping query strings from URLs for a while and it has definitely helped with cutting down duplicate submissions on my part!

Aug. 15, 2006, 12:51 p.m.I think it's good that Netscape also checks to see if the title of your story has been submitted. Many people leave the original headline and it comes up by default anyway, so I think that helps a lot in finding dupes.

Aug. 15, 2006, 12:53 p.m.I agree Corey, and the tag/title searching they do during the preview is a step in the right direction too. Now if only they could go a step further and sniff the content and compare it other content (i know, extremely resource intensive, just blue-skying here).
