I am most greatful to Jason, CK and the gang at Netscape for giving me, just a regular guy that loves to be on the internet, this golden opportunity. Without a doubt I expect this to be a success and I will do everything within my power to help make it successful so that this and other opportunities can be opened up for other regular guys, just like me.

Damn Jordan! What did you do, go to Fight Club and get beat by Tyler Durdan?

If you go buy a forehead protector and enhance the scar, you'd look like Kakashi.

Dear Netscape and C.K,

After applied to becoming a Navigator I've started wondering... and after Netscape start picking Navigators even more questions has appeared...

How do you (Netscape)pick your Navigators? Just wondering...

Did you get my application? Just wondering... it would be nice to know if you got it.

The only improvement I would like added is the 'move on links' i.e. page 1, 2, last. which need to be at the top of the page as well as the existing bottom, would save having to keep scrolling down over posts to get to the page you want.

ephram,

It's like any other freelance position out there. We look at the person's extant work. We then contact the person. Call them on the phone and have a phone interview. We determine if they sound like they would be a good fit. If so, then we move forward with an offer, etc.

I still have a pile of people to contact, so if you haven't heard anything from me yet, please feel free to resend the email. Thanks!

This new format inspires more opinion articles than actual news. I personally find it disappointing. Especially certain 'anchors' who pointed post only opinion articles with inflammatory and misleading titles.

What a disgrace? The new Netscape look and functionality has a lot to be desired. Why would any intellegent person want to read the thoughts and opinions of thes selected people who do not disclose their information sources. They write anything they want to change your opinion without presenting actual facts. Their readers would have really enjoyed reading the daily PROVDA the Russian news paper. A least with PROVDA you knew where the were coming from. Bad, Bad, Bad idea and waste of time, unless you Nescape officials have your own predetermined ajenda. Ted Turner and Honio Jane do a pretty good job with CNN. Just drink the Koolaid and you will fit right in.

Bring back the OLD Nescape, it will be a great improvement.

@Hobe

If you have the right to complain, but a lot of what you are saying isn't reasonable. Yes there is a lot to be desired, and that is why we are here. To help Netscapers build and improve, and eventually perfect the community. Please provide your input on how you would like things changed, and what elements could be imporve/how. 'Bring back the OLD Netscape' is not going to happen, any other recommendations?

Also, its not PROVDA, its PRAVDA, which in Russian means truth. As you may/may not know, PRAVDA until more recently was a vital part of the communist propaganda machine, and to some extent remains a highly questionable source of information to this day. Also, 'ajenda' is spelled 'agenda'

See, now one recommendation you could make is that they should add spell check to the comments box. Now isn't that nice and easy to do? I think so. =)

I joined Netscape because my work changed over to their browser. I eventually got caught up in reading some of the posts and noticed how there was a lean to the left even then and I also noticed how there was hatred spewed at each side from the other. One of my first posts (about the tendency of state funded universities to push a liberal agenda) was blatantly attacked by you and some kind of German/Nazi allusion was made. I have been emboldened ever since. If Netscape applied the rules fairly, then I think that most of the banned members from the right would not have even been limited at all. I see a lot of unfairness almost every day and it is almost always in favor of the left.
