Not hot. I mean, what is she doing? Is she trying to get a job with the videos? Is she trying to make money off the ads? I don't get it and I think the video is kind of lame.

I thought it was cute... of course, the whole back and forth thing is getting a little old. You can only make so many jokes about the same thing... right?

This whole "electronic intimacy" thing is so phoney anyway. With a bit of public education, this too shall pass.

I thought this was hilarious. The best part had to be the end where she declares herself fired.

What I didn't get is that zefrank is credited as having helped write the piece, but it is sooooo incredibly unfunny.

I agree with pretty much everything that's been said so far. Really Amanda? This is what you've spent the past couple of weeks doing? Ze Frank was in on this? Then why was it so slow paced? Ze Frank can pack more info 30 seconds than most newscasters do in a whole segment.

I hope that ending with the "I'm fired" bit is the final acceptance step and we can move on now.

Awful. After watching that, I would have refused to let it be distributed.

So is Calacanis still building her hew own studio?

As CK and Ryan said, what was Ze doing here? Sure they might be friends and all, but like, meh. Would have been better if he actually showed up on the video.

I have to say I don't get her appeal at all, kind of an unfunny Tina Fey.

A little lame. And whats with the comments about not putting it up on You Tube? It seems (rightly or wrongly) that every video gets put on You Tube, copyrighted or not, she thinks that saying it is CC'd means hers shouldn't be put up. Is this what NBC, ABC, etc should be doing to stop people putting it up on You tube? Give me a break. Maybe its baiting someone to do it.

I found myself wondering what Ze Frank's role was in the writing of the piece. If you are an "Amanda's just a pretty face" partisan, you'd be tempted to think no way she ever came up with the idea of announcing the news to her stuffed animals, that's gotta be Frank.
