I just tested it out on a MacBook Pro and it runs well, but takes quite a bit more time to load a page than Firefox. I'm not sure if I'm a big fan of the layout of the tabs up top.

I have used the beta version for a few weeks and it have been running the usual smooth opera way. Configuration is now more simpel with opera:config and the search engine editor - great improvements.

There are a lot of broken pages and other bugs. This final release was very premature. Many Opera enthusiasts were wringing their hands at the prospect of a final release on the beta forum yesterday. Hopefully future point releases will deal with these issues.

Opera has gone from the bottom of the barrel to a top pick. Now, if it can just shake that stigma off and start stealing shares away from MSIE we would be in business.

Working well on OS X. The widgets are a nice touch so hope the range available widens shortley.

The tab layout is changeable as is virtually everything in the Opera UI. So don't be put off if it doesn't suit you at first it is very adaptable.

"There are a lot of broken pages"

If this means webpages then you can not expect Opera to combat this. They are building their browser to web standards. Opera is one of the most compliant browsers available (yes, more so that Firefox). People just don't like of Opera when writing pages.

Very good version, opera is my favorite browser. One problem, a lot of website prefer work for firefox, toolbar, social bookmark ...
